While next year’s 30th anniversary return of the ‘Vans Warped Tour‘ has been a cause for celebration amongst fans of emo, pop-punk, hardcore and more, there’s also been a bit of trepidation attached. With the once annual summer touring festival again returning as a series of two-day destination festivals, and founder Kevin Lyman partnering up with the Live Nation-affiliated promoter Insomniac, some have feared the festival losing its sense of community and spirit.

After all, ‘Vans Warped Tour‘ prided itself in elevating countless younger bands back in its heyday — a feat not easily recreated across a scant few festival shows. Lyman has previously assured fans that next year’s lineup will be faithful to the original runs, but will also possess a few “unique twists.” Pre-sales went onsale for the event yesterday, October 24th, and now the organizers of the event have provided a bit more details on when you can expect to find out whose playing.

Thus far, it would seem that ‘Vans Warped Tour‘ veterans Falling In Reverse are are lock for the fest (the group’s controversial vocalist Ronnie Radke recently hinted at the involvement of his platinum-certified group’s involvement.)

However, outside of that, the rest of the lineup largely remains a mystery. In some newly shared info from the festival, the following was offered up on what types of bands you can expect to see:

“Our lineup is as diverse as ever. Pop punk, emo, punk, metalcore – you name it! From the early years to up and comers, we’ve got it all. Even acts of genres you may not expect to see…”

Also newly confirmed by the fest is word that announcements for the roster will begin rolling out this coming January. After a five-year absence, next year’s return of the festival was officially announced on October 17th. Confirmed dates for the fest include:

06/14-15 Washington, DC – Festival Grounds at RFK Campus
07/26-27 Long Beach, CA – Shoreline Waterfront
11/15-16 Orlando, FL – Camping World Stadium Campus
